Rooftop Greenhouse
Objective: To design a sustainable greenhouse that can be installed on Toronto's urban rooftops and provide vegetables and fruits for locals.
Steps: After indicating project requirements, the team generated three alternative solutions. Through communication with our client and methodological assessments, the design that best met the requirements was selected. This design was then analyzed in more details and the final specifications of the design was presented to the client.

Requirements:
-
Use 100% renewable energy to operate
-
Be operational year-round
-
Modular design to fit most rooftops
-
Maximise cultivation space
Results and Achievements: This project taught me the basic foundation of approaching an engineering design project and the tools that are used to ensure the best results are achieved. I learned how to clearly indicated problem statement, project requirements and stakeholders. In addition, I learnt how to properly communicate with group members and the client. A more advanced version of all of these skills were later used in capstone project.
